Honey Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients: 
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 3/4 cups (425 mL) pumpkin
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) Ontario honey
  • 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) salt
  • 1 tsp. (5 mL) cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) ginger
  • 1 2/3 cups (400 mL) milk or light cream
  • nutmeg
Directions: 

Mix ingredients in order given. Pour into a 9" unbaked pastry shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 350°F. (180°C) for 1 hour or until knife inserted in centre comes out clean.
