Orange Honey Syrup

Ingredients: 
  •  3/4 cup  (175 mL) 100% Ontario Honey
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) Butter
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) Grated Orange Rind
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) Orange Juice
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) Orange Extract

 

Directions: 

In a 1 quart saucepan, heat honey and butter just until bubbly. Remove from heat and stir in orange rind, orange juice, and the orange extract. Pour into a jar or container.

Seal and store in fridge. Reheat to serve warm over fruit salad, cake, ice cream, etc. 

Yield: 
about 1 cup (250 mL)
